Living in River Road

The varied pocket-neighborhoods of River Rd. are special. From Chambers Street cross the tracks to the north and you land on River Rd. From that beginning and travelling north there’s a multitude of residential streets that head east to the Willamete River and the bike path that winds along it. Eugene residents looking for larger lots sometimes find them in the River Rd. area, and if you want to bike downtown but not live in the middle of it, the path along the river can take you there and beyond, connecting all the way to Springfield.

Maxwell and Irving Roads are the big arterials heading west off River Rd. that will take you to Prarie Rd., giving access to HWY 99, Junction City and Corvallis
